Rhone hotel recommendations

Going to be in the Northern Rhone this fall for a few days. Can anyone recommend a good place to stay somewhere between Vienne and Valence.

Helicopter access not required. [snort.gif]

Thanks in advance.

If the budget allows, stay at Maison Pic in Valence.

Agreed! Valence is nothing to get excited about, but the hotel is nice and the three-star restaurant is every bit of that. They even have a more casual bistro that’s fantastic…

I haven’t been in a few years but always stayed at Le Beau Rivage in Condrieu. Very good location for moving about. Get a room with a terrace overlooking the Rhone. Spent a lot of time on that terrace with a bottle of wine, cheese, and saucison.

Some good recs on here. We spent a good amount of time travelling through the northern Rhone and stayed at a couple of good spots. Cour des Loges in Lyon, Beau Rivage in Condrieu, and Pic in Valence. While there is nothing going on in Valence, its worth spending at least one night there to eat at Pic. One of the best restaurants I’ve eaten at. Amazing. Also not too far from Hermitage. Beau Rivage is great too but not all rooms are of equal quality so make sure you get a nice room there. The restaurant there is also excellent.

Les 2 Coteaux in Tain L´Hermitage - very nice family hotel

nice rooms and a very good restaurant

Thanks all for the recommendations!
