That would probably be the best option the place is supposed to be getting pretty packed. Logan Square is a tremendous spot for this type of place-i would imagine that it’s going to do quite well.
Goose Island… I really like Greg Hall… love his beers… sick and tired of the crappy service and middling food over there… it has gotten worse since John Manion left…
I’ll have to get over there soon, we’ll see if I get motivated this week. Living across the street from Sheffield’s and their numerous taps makes exploration feel like a chore…but if Revolution can serve some good food it’s certainly worth it. Thanks for posting!
Finally got to swing by for a couple Beers- Had the Working Man Mild which I thought to be a bit hollow through the mid palate but it did deliver a nice finish. Also-had the WIllie Scottish which was really nice. And my buddy had the Wit which was appropriately wity.
Two thumbs up from me as this place no doubt will get better and better. The space is killer. Beer is really fresh-duh. go.
Took the family over to Revolution for St. Patrick’s day. They did a killer corned beef over garlic mashed. I also tried their Oatmeal stout for the first time. Very nice brew served in a snifter? - but a nice brew nontheless which brought nice dark choclate flavors with some roasted notes. 7.3 Abv. Service and food was great and once they get thier sea legs I would think some killer brew is going to be made for sure.
If you like your Fest Bier get yourself over to Revolution~ they have their first lager on tap and it’s a good one. (That’s if you like lagers). Nice and clean/ crisp/ grainy and biscuity with some nice dryness, fruit, florals in the mid-palate and a nice bitter finish.
