Wait you wanted a source to buy activated charcoal, not a bunch of links to the word activated charcoal?

Simple; Pull out the filter , remove the cap, empty it, fill with activated charcoal(available at hardware & pet stores) replace cap & put filter back in ! deadhorse

I have been doing this for years 4 or 5, maybe more, no issues.

I haven’t replaced my filter once in 7 years of owning a eurocave. Is that a problem?

Your time in Philadelphia didn’t prepare you for this kind of comment?

That’s right, buys me a few years.

Kevin, so are going to try it an report back? Either way seems straight forward. The cap comes off easily and you just replace the activated carbon (they are pellets), place the paper cover back on along with the plastic cap and you are set. The carbon is sold online or at pet stores (that cover fish products.)
