So I bought a bunch of nice plates on clearance at Sur La Table, that are just begging to be have a smallish app or canape to be plated on them.
Any recipe suggestions? Bonus points to interesting vegetarian ones (my wife is a vegetarian).
Also, the Momofuku cookbook was the last cookbook I bought. Any interesting cookbooks since then worth getting? Comfortable with lots of prep and technique intensive stuff… when I have time to prep and play with things. Not that interested in duplicating Alinea type stuff however.
