I thought you were in pain tonight? Must be some good drugs. 
I liked it quite a bit. It is an absurd blend, but Hirby somehow pulls it off. The Petit Verdot adds some pretty aromatics to what is otherwise a big wine in the mouth. While one would expect that the high degree of PV would make it stiffer in the mouth, it is surprisingly accessible (it must have been pretty ripe). I think the long time in barrel probably helped. As you’d expect from a Realm wine, we are talking high quality fruit and a well-polished wine. Also, not that I usually care about this, but the packaging is one of the best I’ve seen.
FYI, another wine to watch is the '07 Realm BTK.
I just tasted through the entire 06 Realm lineup. Really strong, note to post soon.
