I did not post on a number of wines that I’ve this past week since they were uninspiring, but this one is worthy.
Excellent Shiraz from Australia, it has just about everything except it is a wine tough to pair with food. I think that maybe lamb chaps would be ideal, but other than that would be hard to pair this wine. On its own it is a really terrific wine that merits a nice, nice score.
Crazy. Had a 2003 Rolf Binder Hanisch tonight that kicked much ass with Steak au Poivre.
Awesome wine… I actually think these pair up with food quite well… nothing too light but any hearty pasta or beef dish stands up just dandy. Thanks for your thoughts.
I’ve also enjoyed the '05 the couple of times that I’ve had it. I’m going hold my remaining 2 bottles for a while and hope for the best.
