I meant how successful I am at getting what I want and then how good they were once I drink them. Thought it seemed kinda obvious but that’s I meant

For the price curious, I’ve picked up several older bottles on Winebid in the past 1-2 years. They were quite affordable with limited to no bidder competition:
1991 Ravenswood Sangiacomo Vineyard Merlot
$301996 Ravenswood Lalanne Zinfandel
$241996 Ravenswood Wood Road/Belloni Zinfandel
$302008 Ravenswood Teldeschi Zinfandel
$24
Yes! This is reasonable price in my opinion if Joel wants to sell all of his inventory and not waste more time and money on keeping them around. Sell all = more money in pocket in my opinion.
Berserkers: “I hope these 20+ year-old wines from a legendary winemaker are super cheap!”
Also Berserkers: “I’m in agony over how long I’ve been on the waiting list to buy the latest $200 Cali Syrah.”

So Nate and Larry, what’s your prediction on price?
Don’t know/don’t care. I’m a buyer for sure, but Joel can do what he wants with his wine. I’d love to see low prices, of course, but I’m not getting in the game of predicting that which has already been decided.
FWIW, the Gregory Cabernet I purchased from him a few years back was reasonably priced in my opinion.

I have funds set aside and will spend them on whatever I am offered.

Now I see what you’re saying but it’s not a wishlist, Joel said the wines will be allocated.
Allocated, but first come, first served.
Thx for the clarification, David - I will now reschedule my Tuesday so I’m near my computer when the email hits!
Library releases from wineries are usually expensive, and multiples more than auction. Given the demand evident in this thread, I’d be surprised if the prices weren’t on the high side of the range being discussed here.
But if I’m wrong, that’s great for you buyers.
Just logged in and when I click access offering nothing pops up?
Update, got email link and got in. Got half of what I wanted. 6 others were on wish list. The obvious ones
Order live. Happy to get what I wanted (didn’t work on chrome, only safari)
I…did well. Got everything I wanted. Good luck everyone.
Prices were EXTREMELY fair. A huge, huge thanks to Joel for extending us such gracious pricing. He certainly didn’t have to, and I imagine it still would have sold through had he not.

Agree 100%
Wow. Stuff was there when I put it in the cart, but gone before I hit purchase. Still did well, just missed a couple of things.
I placed my order. I admit it was kind of random in the choosing, but received everything I tried for.
Thanks, Joel. We all appreciate you sharing the wines with us at fair prices.
