1993 Sonoma County cab tonight for my 1993 daughterâs birthday. 2/3 âold red wine,â 1/3 fruit hanging in there. Nice.

Took the mag of 1998 Gregory Cab to a friendâs house this past Saturday.
Opened the bottle later afternoon and took a sip and tasted a bit âfunkyâ with prunes/plums being the most noticeable to me. Wasnât sure how it would end up tasting, but color was good and good amount of fruit. So, I double decanted back into the bottle and corked it back up. I brought two 750s as backup in case the wine was not good.
Not needed, as it had changed quite a bit. Smooth and well integrated fruit, with the prunes/plum receded. Everyone loved it. I have not had a bad bottle of these library releases.
