1999 François Raveneau Chablis 1er Cru Chapelot - France, Burgundy, Chablis, Chablis 1er Cru (5/11/2014)
Chapelot is a subsection of 0.3Ha within the Montée de Tonnerre premier cru. It’s very rich and intense, with some exotic fruit and spicy charateristics, creamy, buttery and very long. Wow, really drinking great right now! (94 pts.) -
2006 Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Cuvée Duvault-Blochet - France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru (5/11/2014)
Aromas of warm earth, dried flowers and wood smoke. On the palate it’s grippy, earthy and spicy with dark black fruit in the background. Really interesting wine but maybe it just lacks a touch of power on the finish. (92 pts.) -
2005 Coche-Dury Monthélie - France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Monthélie (5/11/2014)
A pure and giving, fruit-forward wine. It’s a wine that is fresh and juicy, with plush raspberry and redcurrant flavours. There is a lifted, refreshing character, but it lacks the depth and complexity. But very open, very beguiling and delicious ! (90 pts.)

By the way, there will be no DRC Cuvée Duvault-Blochet in 2011 …
Nonetheless DRC cellar master Bernard Noblet produced some 2011 Vosne-Romanée !
