Just filed chargeback with CC. This is crazy.

What day did yours ship? It sounds like the issue here is the order in which they filled the orders.

LOL that was the first thing that came to mind when I was wondering what “making it right” might consist of.

Purchased Thurs Oct 22, 10:01 AM PDT. Pretty early in the offering if I recall correctly.
For perspective, I saw Larry’s post (post #1 in this thread). My order was in within a half hour of the time he posted.

Can anyone find that language on their website? I spent a little time looking around and haven’t found it on the Qupe deal page or anywhere in the FAQ pages (zero hits for a search on the word “vintage”). But perhaps the verbiage is different and I’ve just missed it.

I have two cases which shipped today and should show up tomorrow…wonder what’s going to be in the boxes. If it’s the CC bottling, they’ll hear about it, and a “Groupon bucks” offer isn’t going to cut it.

I’ve I only filed chargebacks with my CC on products that never actually arrived. I am fully anticipating the wrong wine being delivered tomorrow. In this circumstance, as I obligated to return the wine? Thanks in advance.

I think you should give Groupon the opportunity to take back the wine and a full refund before initiating a cc chargeback

probably need to return the wine. they can request Fedex to come and pick up.

They wont take back. Groupon bucks or nothing.

The case I ordered as a gift for my parents (in CA) arrived and is the 2018 Central Coast. For reference, the order was placed October 22 at 1:47PM Eastern time, and shipped on October 28.

Here is a part of the long Groupon “chat”…
John: I can’t get an actual refund and return the product?
Maria S: No, this is a FINAL SALE purchase and is not eligible for a refund.
John: Even if what i bought isn’t what was advertised?
Maria S: Yes sir, unfortunately this case is the best option I can offer you.
John: Is there any way to contact VWE to see if they can send the correct wine? Or is it already confirmed they don’t have it or never did in the first place?
Maria S: No, like I told you, this is a direct purchase from Groupon.
John: Can groupon contact them?
Maria S: Not in this case.

I can’t begin to tell you how appreciative we are that you guys on the west coast will have this all worked out for us on the east coast for when our wine arrives next week [cheers.gif].

My wine is supposed to arrive on Monday. Here’s how I imagine my chat going:

Me: So instead of wine I received a pile of dogshit in the package. Can I get a refund?
Support: No, this is a FINAL SALE purchase and is not eligible for refund

I just screen shot that page in case they change it and I need to dispute it. My case is en route.

Even more weird/ironic is that the packing slip in the case lists it as the 2016 Bien Nacido. [head-bang.gif]
