Quick TNs - '99 Ramonet BBM, '98 Bachelet CC, '96 Chevillon Pruliers

No rhyme or reason to these.

’99 Ramonet Bienvenue Batard Montrachet-
First off, no premox!! This is maturing just as it should. There is a fair dollop of oak amidst loads of rich, ripe fruit and fine detail. The nose is nice rocky lemon cream. This is excellent in a rich style. Drinking well now.

’98 Bachelet Charmes Chambertin-
I seem to remember reading some less positive notes on this wine a few years ago, but it is singing now. With decanting, it shows fully mature sous bois and earth. Very good midpalate with the breadth of ripe fruit and balancing acidity of the vintage. This was better and better with air. Excellent.

’96 Chevillon Nuits St George Pruliers-
Gorgeous nose of pure turned earth, Nuits iron and herbs. The palate is middleweight and quite savory with a pungent earthy complexity and zippy acidity. This is excellent and drinking well but shows best with food. I loved the acidity and earth paired with a creamy sauce.

The Bachelet Charmes sounds fabulous Kevin.
Thanks for the note here.
