Question for Eric (re: Epeneaux)

On CT, why does the search for “2010 epeneaux” bring up d’Angerville wines as well? Is there a connection I’m not aware of?

Why wouldn’t you post this in the CT support forum??

Well, I learned something today. Mods, feel free to delete the thread.

I believe that historically this estate was known as “Clos des Epeneaux”. For example, Burghound uses “Comte Armand / Clos des Epeneaux”. People never seem to bug Allen about this.

When we merge tons of duplicates, we try to add hidden keywords to help keep the garbage from piling up again.

Eric, to clarify:

The current Domaine Comte Armand used to be the Domaine des Epeneaux (link), which owns the Clos des Epeneaux monopole.

But what’s the historical connection between Domaine d’Angerville and Domaine des Epeneaux?

We must have attached the hidden keywords to the wrong estate (d’Angerville versus Comte Armand). Fixed.
