Question -- different bottle sizes in a vertical? (for charity auction)

Hi all!

It’s been a while since I’ve posted, but the Boys & Girls Club that I work for is having its big annual charity event and I was hoping for some input on packaging a Quilceda Creek vertical.

We received magnums of the flagship Cab for 2005-2009. The donor also gave 750mL bottles of the 2004, 2010 and 2011 with the suggestion of adding those to the package.

My question is whether it is odd to have a vertical with different bottle sizes, and if we should put everything together or leave the magnums as one package and auction off the 750mL bottles separately.

If it helps, the magnums are going in a live auction. If we separate the 750mL bottles, they would be going in a silent wine auction.

Thank you guys so much for the help. Cheers! [cheers.gif]

Separate. Think it will raise more money.

Unless you have big spenders. Sell them each separately. This gives many the opportunity to buy one versus a 5 bottle mag lot that might not generate top bidding.
