Saw a stack of these at a local wine shop here in Boston for $15. Did a quick recon on CT and WS, looked like a killer price so I snatched up the last 6. Best $15 dollar pinot I have ever had; by a long shot! Maybe all the hype about 2007 CA pinot is true?

2007 Siduri Pinot Noir Russian River Valley - USA, California, Sonoma County, Russian River Valley (10/12/2009)
Screw Cap bottle. Nice ruby color with a dark blood red like core. Nose gives off sweet maraschino cherries, touches of baking spices, cinnamon, tobacco, anise and hints of toasty oak. This wine was a bit big at first but calmed down a in the glass with air. Bright red fruits on the palate with cranberry, pomegranate and strawberry. Nice streak of acidity with decent weight makes this nice and round. A touch of tannin on the back end all wrapped up with more spice, mild oak and tons of fruit. Smallest touch of heat is noticeable which did blow off with air. This wine is still rather large with medium body and weight. It could use a year or two in the bottle but very enjoyable now.
