Anyone interested in gathering a group to taste? Let’s include as many Berserkers as possible with a goal of including some younger or newer members so let’s just say bring something you think others will find interesting. Q by Peter Chiang in Bethesda has a private room, doesn’t charge corkage (just 20% service for large groups), and the cuisine can be selected to match most fine wine surprisingly well. They have crushable Peking duck that pairs super well with all kinds of reds. Champagne and whites go great with fried goodies and dumplings. I’m also open to other ideas if someone wants to host or has a better restaurant idea.
Please respond to this thread to join the group. Looking forward to a fun evening with everyone.
Adding a few more attendees Still room for a few more.

We are confirmed for Q by Peter Chiang at 5:00 on 2/15.
The plan is to do Champagne and dry whites with dumplings and fried things. Reds will follow and be paired with Peking duck, and non-spicy dishes. Sichuan spicy dishes will go last and be paired with Riesling or other wines with residual sugar.
I would encourage everyone to bring stemware if possible The restaurant has a limited number of stems that are just okay.
