Had to cancel, or was forced to cancel as they refused to hold shipment until it gets cooler. Also, i was a bit miffed at the sales rep crude 1 line responses.

I’ve gone a few rounds with that guy over shipping to Texas, sorry it didn’t work out.

I almost had to cancel as well, he was trying hard to get me to do so. I asked for the wine to be held for cooler temps and he jumped right in that he would cancel. I want the wine so am taking the chance, temps in WA will be in the high 70s later this week so probably 80s in a UPS truck. He was trying hard to get me to back out of the purchase; almost makes me think he screwed up on the pricing. [wink.gif]

Missed the PYCM but picked up the 2010 F Esmonin Estournelles St Jacques for $18 - never had that wine but thought it was a solid deal on what should be a good every day drinking 1er cru Burg.
