I’m one of those always on the lookout for a good deal types. I must say that Winex has always delivered on their “have we got a deal for you” e-mails (usually new distributor, Winery sold, or Winery out of business). Drinking a 2011 Edward Sellers white Rhone blend. 2004 Coniglio Oakville Cab, and several others. When they say they have a deal and say the juice is good, I believe them.
You mean the Val de Mer (Piuze)? I bought about a case of those, and they’ve been great, though I’ve heard even the 2010s show some premox, so I should drink them pretty soon.
My 1 Piuze (regular estate, not the Val de Mer) from 2008 felt like it is on the early curve of pre-mox. Showed enough character that I’ve written off this producer.
Coincidentally, I’m drinking my last bottle of 2005 Von Simmern Kabinett which Wine Exchange blew out for $9.99 several years ago. I only wish I had bought more than six bottles.
Saw an offer yesterday from LBW for the '11 Mollydooker Carnival of Love for $45 ($90 on release). WinEx has it for $39.99 today, albeit no FS. Point: they’re on par with flash sites. Not bad!

Agreed. They manage to obtain a lot of these deals and they’re killer QPRs.

Well, that’s overpriced by about $40…
well… if you find some to sell at -$0.01, I’ll take it all.
