Pre-TN: 2007 Le Vieux Donjon CDP

Just put the 2007 Vieux Donjon CDP in the decanter. It smells like love. The kind of smoldering, twisted, leather-clad love that you don’t take home to meet the folks. It should be consumed over the course of a one-hour room rental down near the waterfront in Seattle.

I will provide an actual tasting note tomorrow morning.

Agreed, in the top 3 of the ones I’ve tasted so far, and at about 50% the price of the others the aforementioned top 3.

I think I can guess the super premium 07 CDP that Michael is pouring tonight. Almost makes me want to change my evening tasting plans.

I tried this wine at Micheal’s shop tonight. Not much aroma for me, and tight in the mouth. Good components from what I could discern, but give this time.
