Let’s call it February 25th… I’m thinking Metrovino… Who’s in? !!
That’s perfect for “Open that Special bottle night” I wish I lived in Portland.
Cheers
Jeremy
I’d certainly be interested but can’t do February 25th.
If the date changes…
That sounds good to me.
Cool- I’m open to dates- Friday or Saturday late Feb early March.
I’m interested, though have a limited supply of Burgundy to contribute. Feb. 25, March, 3 and March 10 work for me. Saturdays are definitely best, but I might be able to make a Friday work.
March 3rd could work for me. Don’t worry about your supply- I’m more concerned about getting a regular Burgundy group together! We’ll start to firm things up in the coming weeks. Does anyone have any thoughts on a venue?
I’m game, and flexible on dates. Metrovino is fine, but Tabla might be better!
Oh, and burgundy is delish… but we all knew that!
I’m down with Tabla.
March 3rd tentative…
Once we have a rough idea of the numbers we should contact Tabla, they have a private room that’s fantastic for a wine dinner.
I’m out for the 3rd, but don’t move it on my account. I couldn’t participate regularly in a Burgundy group, so you’re best off hitting the schedules of those who could. Either way, thanks for taking the initiative on this.
Bummer. Maybe 3/10 works for everyone?
Like Daniel, I couldn’t participate regularly in a Burg group, so no need to plan around my schedule. But I’d definitely like to gain exposure to more wines from the region, and learn from the folks who are more knowledgeable.
3/10 works for me. I’m pretty flexible and would be up for trying to get as many people that are interested as possible.
For everyone that has responded thus far let me know if 3/10 works or what dates in March would work. Cheers.
I rarely check this forum because I’m rarely in a position to join offlines due to travel/family commitments. Daniel and a few others know me, keep me in mind and give me a heads up as things occasionally come together, esp if you get a regular group together. I might be able to occasionally break free (when I’m not snowed in…)
My burg collection is both small and young. I’d love to join in – but might need to do some auction hunting first.
Are winemakers allowed?

+1. I recently picked up a couple bottles of mid-1990s 1er Cru from Seth Long, who is brokering some bottles. Details in “Commerce Corner.”

Won’t speak for the OP, but I enjoy the perspective and knowledge that most winemakers bring to the table.
3/10 is good for me, and I hope winemakers would be included!

As is mine but I do consider winebid an extention of my cellar…
If we make it March 10 that should give everyone time to source…
Are winemakers allowed?
Oh, hell yes!
