Pontet-Canet 2019 is out - but couldn't find any review?

Looks like I’ll be saving-up to go hog-wild on '19 Bdx… I do think I’ll skip EP, however, due to fears of wine stores going belly-up. The only one local-to-me that I believe is virtually guaranteed to survive whatever our immediate future may bring is Total Wine, and I’ve heard too many EP horror stories about them to travel that path.

This is a valid point and one to consider…

To add, if this reduction holds through, I will be very tempted to jump on the bandwagon and buy a ton , but I will be very selective of who I buy from…

I’ll buy a bunch, my youngest was born in 2019, but will only buy large formats EP.

Sotheby’s, Millesima, K&L and Wine.com is where I get my EP’s, and if they go under especially wine.com who has skyrocketing revenues from the Covid-19 situation), I’ll be pretty surprised.

I think zachys is a safe bet as well. Cant see them going under.

Hmmmm… Wine Advocate just gave it a 98-100 barrel score. Turning out that even with the 25% tariff this seems to represent good value ($100).

Given the Wine Advocate predilection for big, bold, ripe wines, wasn’t this a guaranteed rating??
