Well, I searched the web for Fred Plotkin’s Italy for the Gourmet Traveler but no new or used copies were to be found. [shrug.gif] Then I phoned KITCHEN ARTS & LETTERS (http://www.kitchenartsandletters.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;), the best cookbook store I know of; they also have a serious collection of books about wine. Eureka ! They had Plotkin’s 2006 edition and explained that distribution for this book is problematic. For anyone interested in this book, another retailer noted that a new (2009) edition should be coming out later this winter.
