LOVE MF.Richter’s Riesling!
Homemade truffle pizza with some cabs. WM was open and just super easy to keep drinking. Plush tannins and black fruit with a little red plum in there. MacDonald was a little more closed and both PnP. Lots of glass swirling worked though ha. Deep black fruit with a beautiful spice note.
Home made pizza paired with Cimarossa’s home grown Nebbiolo. We have several of these we bought a few years back at the winery.
It’s California fruit with Valtellina neurosis.
Not from the original New Haven location but still amazing! Fresh tomato pie with mozzarella. It called out for a special Zin.

It’s big! Not as much heat as you would expect it’s very well integrated
Nice - as is often pointed out here, balance is more important than just the ABV. Glad to hear it was drinking well.
