Pizza and Wine…post your pic!

Cut-paste posting from another thread. A shout out for the meaty slice from around my neighborhood that I took home. The wine went along with my cravings.

The 1996 Ch. Clinet (Pomerol) can definitely hold its own in a highly-regarded Left Bank vintage. Seems a little riper and sweeter than most from the vintage but nevertheless showed all the classic mature Bordeaux characters and charm with graphite, mineral, and leather notes. Pizza wine need not be boring.

I love the perspective and the shirt in the background.

Lol, this is very casual outdoors, they use a big coffee can as the platform. My wife will be happy to know someone noticed her blouse :slightly_smiling_face:

Matt (who runs Yardley) isn’t there on Tuesdays, they always seem to send some out a bit over on the edge of the crust, that would get held usually, but still delicious

Robbinsville ftw

Who hurt you?

It was what I had on hand. so it was my fridge that hurt me.

I guess it is an improvement over broken glass, coke can tabs, and rat poison. But just barely.

Thanks I’ll keep your advise in mind.

I think we need a ranking of pizza snobs on the Board, so we can gain some perspective of their posts. Who would be top three?

Whew! At least one category where I won’t make the Tob Snobs list!

If is this is a response to Mr Kane’s comments about an anchovy/mashed potato/broccoli pizza, I don’t think calling out that pizza counts as snobbery. That’s just good old fashioned common sense!

Anyone who doesn’t put red sauce on their pizza should be eliminated

It’s a brilliant strategy for making children hate pizza.

Who is this Mr Kane and how did I miss his ridicule?

@K_John_Joseph is the character in question.
