Probably the wrong topic to post this in, but we were discussing the NY Times national 50 restaurants list here recently. I ran across something I’ve never seen before when booking a reservation at our entry there: they don’t let you book a table for 3 online, only 2 and 4-6. If you specify 3, there is zero availability anytime, plenty for 4. New strategy for filling four-tops and maximizing revenue? 
I wonder what happens when I book for four and update the reservation?
