I’m trying to find out if this is 2007 or 2008 juice. Went in on Skurnik’s site but could not get any relevant information. Anyone have any ideas about this? Thanks.
Doesn’t matter. Peters mags are always amazing. I’ve had them from about 5 of the last 6 imported disgorgements, and always stellar.
Might be easiest to try to contact the Champagne house directly?
Agree, but I remember Brad mentioning here that the 2008 juice is special; the best since the 2002.
Michael, I had asked Brad Baker about this exact same issue via PM not too long ago. I’ll forward you in a PM what he shared with me. I’d rather not post his private message publicly without his consent, but he may very well weigh in here soon anyway!

Mike,
Just responded to your email on this, but will post my response in this thread as well so others can see.
For official US Import bottles, you have either a pure 2007 or a pure 2008. Both are good, but the pure 2008 is awesome. I know that Mags meant for the US that were disgorged from late summer 2012 through April of 2013 were pure 2007. I know that Mags meant for the US that were disgorged starting in the fall of 2013 are pure 2008. You could have either with a June disgorgement date. I believe it is a pure 2008, but I can’t confirm that 100% as you fall right in the middle of when I know they changed.
I just took delivery of the last mags of 08 from the domaine…
Where can I get some?
Resuscitating this thread because I just got offered NV mags that were disgorged in Dec. 2013. Based on Brad’s info in this thread and others, am I safe to assume that means these mags are pure 2008 juice?
If they were originally for the U.S. market (not gray market), the answer is yes: based on 2008 juice.
