Paulee 2019

I’m on my 11th vintage (with a few missed)…I also noticed that the wines and producers shown are not at the level that they have been in the past…oh well. I still booked 6 events and a bunch of cool restaurants.

Huh, I got a no longer available message. Maybe they just don’t like me.

Jay,

It should definitely be there. If you are at the right screen, it should show a “click to inquire about waitlist”; if it says “no longer available,” it’s an older message, I think from last year. (I got the latter at first, I think when I tried to go directly from the email, but if you go to the 2019 homescreen and scroll all the way down to find the event, it should work.)

Good luck!

Rob, this year will be my first Paulee and I’m not doing the gala dinner but just the tasting that same day. Many on this board have done the dinner and can tell you what it’s like I’m sure, but this article also speaks to it:

The book Cork Dork also has a chapter on the Paulee dinner:

I have to admit - the Gala dinner isn’t my favorite event and I usually skip them for more private, smaller events. Certainly interesting to experience at least once - bring a high-end bluechip and you will fit right in.

Looking forward to the gala. I have commitments during the day so I can’t attend either the verticals or the grand tasting, but the gala has been fun the couple of times I’ve been.
