Yes. It is expensive.
Personally, I have never tried it but very much wanted to. I am mulling over the offer and may order a few of the Larner.
Paul’s Larner is certainly a special wine . . . albeit from a very special vineyard indeed.
Had a chance to try both at HdR and really enjoyed the Larner - more old world in flavor, with plenty of dark fruit, violets, great acid and intensity . . .
I believe his 06 version garnered him one of, if not the, highest CA syrah score from RMP outside Alban/SQN . . .
