Whats Rue La La?
A website that offers close out deals on “boutique” items. Most of what they offer is closing and fashion related stuff. Sometimes they have other things of interest like Shun cutlery, Kitchenaid, Calphalon, etc. at fairly good prices compared to normal retail. First time seeing any wine on there though.
They offered Beringer at some point over the summer but I did not think the wines or prices were anything special.
What they do specialize is unloading last year’s styles at discount prices.
Saw that too. made no sense to me though the large formats went quickly.
From Rue I’ve purchased Riedel Port stems (IIRC, got 8 for a hundred bucks) and am looking forward to the Staub list next week.
I was very close to biting on a Nespresso machine for the office but passed.
IMVHO the site is well done.
I had to sign up for the ‘waiting list’.
Saw it, but didn’t think it offered compelling value. Some things on RLL are fabulous deals. Many things - not so much.
