Order in for a 3 pak. Popped a 22 a few months ago and it was one of the best 22 napa cabs ive tasted yet!

Did you ever taste the PS? I haven’t had any of their wines but the PS description sounds pretty awesome.
I had the’22 PS a few weeks ago. It was very good. It had some tension and acidity that kept it from being heavy. Still big but not exhausting. A really good wine.

Think I will likely forego my allocation. Getting too pricey, I can get my Graham fix with MacDonald.
I concur, good assessment of the wine. I was up there in July and bought a 3-pack.
I’m in for 6. If you the opportunity to spend time with Felicia and Steve, it’s worth the trip and investment of time. The clear unwavering strategy that’s taken years to bring the vineyard to this point is extraordinary. The CS, PS (decades-old vines) are beauties and I think will age exceptionally well. The Chenin is their secret weapon. The early call on this variety is going to pay off for them and all that enjoy this grape. Everyone has their take on price. For me, this represents tremendous value, and frankly punches above this price point relative to others I’ve experienced across the valley.
In my 18 months or so now hanging out in and around Napa, this is one of those places I am excited to see take off and succeed. The early and long-term integration between Felicia and Steve and Mr. MacDonald is not only a great story - it’s how great wines and brands emerge.

I picked up a 3 pack last week. For their sake, I’m glad to see it sold out today.

I am surprised that this was ready to drink. maybe I should open one. Did it need a lot of air?
I uncorked it an hour before dinner and then drank it over the next 90 minutes. So no double decant or extended aeration. It just drank really well with a quality grilled steak. The ‘21 PS was more prototypical — big bold give it 10 years and see where it is then. I just really really enjoyed the ‘22 for what it is now. All the young PS good traits without crushing your palate.
