We made our own chocolate covered bacon once to try.

It wasn’t horrible, but we’ve never had a desire to try it again.

One of the Mom’s made bacon candy for the “international evening” at my daughter’s school, when everyone was supposed to bring a dish representing their nationality. I have no idea what nationality this represented. Anyway, I thought that it was incredibly good.

Not everyone shared my opinion. We brought sufganiyot (okay, jelly doughnuts, but we needed to fit in the international theme) which the kids gobbled up. They were mostly grossed out by the idea of bacon candy.
