If you wanted something a bit different and are adventurous with food, this place in Oslo was lights out good. I wish we had more people than just the two of us as I wanted to order and try most of the menu but everything we did have was fantastic. Not a huge place so will definitely need reservations.
I don’t have a hotel to recommend but I would strongly recommend visiting Himkok for a cocktail. Consistently in the world’s top 50 bars and we really enjoyed our visit.

but we have family their so it’s a must trip and I will report back what we find.
Nice way to inject flavor into the Norwegian scene! Although, I looked at the menu, and I wouldn’t describe it as different or adventurous. (Not sure how ‘Pakistani’ it is either) It’s a very long list of all the standard Western cliches around South Asian food. But, I’m sure it adds a nice counterpoint to the local flavors!
