Thanks for the heads up on that. I’m buying from a friend who is very slowly downsizing their cellar so the options are restricted to what he’s willing to part with currently. Good to know about the ‘21 as I’m fairly certain a Rousseau Beze is on my 2026 buying list at the very least.
Personally I’d opt for the Mugnier. His 21s are amazing wines.
As to RSV in general, I would say that in my experience, I would tend to prefer Dujac, Cathiard, and perhaps Arnoux(-Lachaux) to DRC. From older vintages, going back to the 70s and earlier, the bottles I’ve had from Louis Latour have been astonishingly good. Though not tried any recent bottles. Would be interesting to know what they’re like, given their current reputation…

I would go with the Mugnier Amoreuses - though (full disclosure) it is one of my absolute favourite Burgundies ![]()
To me, it’s the essence of Chambolle. The sort of nose you can just sit there and enjoy for hours.
