The day would start and end at Del Blotto
+1 on Schramsburg. Nothing like champagne tasting at 10 am.
Pride is a great tasting to start your day. But youâd have to do some moving around. Itâs a long ride up but easier ride down especially if you do a 10am. Nice tour, beautiful property and they pour a nice variety of wines. Just make sure you allow time to get to next destination and try for one Up valley. Then you could grab a quick lunch at Brasswood and get the mozzarella app which might turn out to be the most memorable part of your day
I agree. So different and unique compared to almost all of the wineries in Napa .
Grab a sandwich at Genovaâs when they open at 9 AM and throw it in a cooler.
Pride is a good 45 minutes or so, each way, from the others you listed. Important to factor that in.
I know itâs super exciting to visit Napa for the first time, but I canât emphasize this enough: quality>>>>>>quantity.
You will just enjoy the whole trip so much more with 2 or 3 visits max, and time to enjoy those, as well as time for food , maybe shopping, and just driving around.
Also, I think it would be a mistake to not get an English muffin breakfast sandwich from Model Bakery, unless itâs not close to where youâre staying.
Schramsburg is one of a kind not to be missed. Spottswood great wine, warm people next to Saint Helena for lunch, shopping, dinner.
Cooks for dinner in Saint HelenaâŚ
They are awesome. Can get at bakery in St Helena or at their stand in the train building in Yountville
As someone said, map it all to make sure youâre not completely stressed getting from one to the next.
If it were me, Iâd only be doing one morning, and one afternoon, leaving time to relax, have lunch, see other sights, etc. But I get that folks who go to Napa for the first time want to squeeze in as much as possible. Either way, make sure to spit, or even skip some wines being offered. If you drink everything they pour for you, youâll be toast by mid-afternoon ![]()
We last stayed in an Air BnB that was walking distance from Model in St. Helena, so we started every day with an English muffin breakfast sandwich, and often a sandwich for the cooler for lunch on the go a few hours later. Definitely recommend this approach!
Pride is great. Spectacular views and the caves are fun. Wine is very good.
Start at Pride 1st thing in the morning and then make your way down valley from there
di costanzo if you want to taste great wine with a great host.
Iâd put Failla in there. Cabernet can get tiring, and Ehren offers up a breath of fresh air with excellent Pinot, Chardonnay, and Syrah. You wonât find much like it in Napa, and itâs excellent stuff.
Hi Alex,
Just checked Tock and we have you down for 4pm (not 4:30). Our last tasting starts at 4pm and if you visit Del Dotto at 3pm before us, youâll never make your tasting with us by that time. The historic Del Dotto location (which is lierally next door to us) is closed until May so their nearest location is 20 minutes away. We are located just down the road from Jarvis so much less driving if you visit us right after them. Happy to change your booked time with us to 3pm. DM me if we need to chat.

If you like rivers marie cab, taste at rivers marie new tasting room in calistoga. just recently tasted there and it was a wonderful tasting, very private. May be a good time to taste with the release around the corner of the Pinot. Taste with Emily. Fun, knowledgeable and very articulate.
Mayacamus great tasting and great cab. I was there pre covid and tasted with ZOE. No guarantee she is still there.
For shear beauty but more expensive
Continuum on Prichard
Blankiet
Gandona on Prichard
Best advice I can give is to keep the wineries geographically close together if youâre going to do 4 wineries in one day. Pride is out of the question. Youâll be traveling more than one hour to get to Jarvis.
Iâd recommend Memento Mori in Napa. Then grab a bite at Oxbow Market or downtown Napa for lunch. Covert Estate or Relic are other good tasting options in that area. For some different mountain fruit, Iâd recommend Progeny on Mt Veeder.
Just do three wineries and actually enjoy the day!
Whatâs the point rushing through the valley from appointment to appointment?
I feel like 3 is the max. I find 2 to be the best
