Similar to @Brian_Tuite , I was only planning on buying some meat. I ended getting a lot of meat (orders with both Flannery and Morgan Ranch), but then I went off the rails:

Was not planning on buying anything, but was running low on Pinot Blanc and rose, so bought Championship Bottle x 8 (Hard Promises, Rosato, and Lusty Little Crushes). Also won the Championship Bottle Silicon on Sapphire extended age magnum auction which will be a fun bottle to open.
Thought about adding Goodfellow sparklers and rose, but will buy those up at some point this year.

Had a plan to really try to limit my purchasing this BD17 . . . and actually managed pretty well to stick to it:
1 case of PGC Estate PN (this sale provided me some insight into the feeling of satisfaction my theft clients must feel . . . ); and,
1 mixed case of Goodfellow (sparklers and Berserker PN).
Now I need to transition to saving for my anticipated spring club purchases coming up . . . .

I was laid off in November and I am still trying to find something in this tough job market so didnāt plan on buying much this year. Not that I have room for much more anyway.

Leading up to Berserkerday, I planned to sit this one out because I have no freezer space for meat and really donāt āneedā any more wine. I was partially successful, in that I only bought wine. On the other hand, I did buy the following, totaling 7.5 cases:

There were lots of other deals I was eyeing but just couldnāt justify buying so much wine from producers Iāve never tried before. Also always makes me a little sad to see wineries having their last BerserkerDay because theyāre no longer in business and whatnot.

I pretty much stuck to the plan i had. Ive been going big on KF the last few years during BD. How can you not, insane deals and the only time i buy KF.
22 bottles of Kelley Fox (2x Star vertical, hyland vertical, 3x 23 durant, 3x 23 stater, 3x freedom hill pinot)
3x 23 Dico (crazy at 60 per bottle)
6 bottle vertical of MDC Gala Cab vertical (insane deal that includes shipping)
I almost forgot the partial allocation (6 bottles) of the perry colin chard! Ha!

Actually. I had so many Dickās last BD that some of them went limp before I was able to put them in my mouth. So itās good to go in moderation.
