I’ll be spending some time in Squaw Valley in December and thought I might as well check if by any chance there were people in the neighborhood interested in an offline.
I’ll be free in Squaw Valley on the evening of 12/6 and will be flying home out of Reno/Lake Tahoe airport Tuesday so Monday night 12/7 is free for either location.

Probably. What kind of food are you interested in?
I’ve never done an offline in Squaw Valley. Plumpjack’s might be a candidate.
The most wine friendly places in Reno tend to be Asian food.
I have a friend who might join, too.
I can email some other friends and get suggestions for the Squaw Valley area. Are you able to drive?
By the way, Dec. 9 is Wednesday.
If you’re free Dec. 8, LaVecchia is a nice Italian restaurant in Reno with free corkage on Tuesday nights.
Thanks for the correction. When I wrote this post I had only flipped the calendar to November instead of December. I’d say I’m getting old but I’ve been making this sort of mistake all my life, so instead I’ll just say I’ve gotten to old to learn better:)
Unfortunately my flight leaves Tuesday late morning so it would have to be Sunday or Monday.
I won’t have a car but if it’s in Squaw Valley everything seems pretty close together so I can just take a taxi. I’ll be staying at the Resort at Squaw Creek, though as mentioned I could switch to a hotel in Reno for Monday night if that’s where the dinner was held.
Looks like we’ll be doing it in Reno that Monday, probably a Peruvian cafe but maybe sushi if there’s a strong preference for that.
