I think you are spot on. At least Google suggests that Amex personalizes offers based on card use.
Especially if you have an AMEX offer, you could do a lot worse than buying a few bottles of Bollinger Special Cuvee.

I usually get these offers after I buy something and dont need to buy anything again for awhile. I also get 50 off through B21’s wine store out of Tarpon Springs occasionally.
$50 off at B-21 would be awesome. B-21 normally prices wine competitively, without a discount.
Wait until the 21st for free shipping and a duty free purchase to sweeten the deal!

Completely agree. B21’s is one of my first go to’s when buying wine. They also hold things in cold storage for up to 6 months for free.

I wasn’t aware that they offered 6 months storage but will definitely request it during hot months. Shipping out of Florida between June-September is at your own peril

They do, but not on the 21st of the month with free shipping. I asked. 
I generally put in an order or 2 a year for B21, but with them being in Florida and me in Minnesota, the free shpping 21sts are generally not favorable times to ship.
The winemaker has a really interesting background and 2016 I think was his first vintage as a head winemaker for a place. Pricey-ish, not for good napa cab, and worth adding a couple for me just to be enjoyed whenever the moment strikes.

I would be a bit surprised to see ABC on WTSO, a little sad even. Their wines are so consistently excellent, but I suppose we are in a wine market downturn. No details on the vintage, but could be the ABC 2021 Bien Nacido? It did get 94 from Vinous, but it retails on ABC’s website for $40. Could also be Chanin…

That’s a good call. Foxen Chardonnay Tinaquaic Vineyard Estate Grown - Dry Farmed 2021 got 94 points, priced at $44. Pretty much dead on 55% off winery price.

Possible - the 2020 Bien Nacido did get 94 points from Vinous. The 55% discount part is tripping me up though. If WTSO is selling for $20, then the retail would have been ~$45?

The Pichon Baron is up now for anyone interested. The “Comparable Price” is nonsensical and thus the actual retail price isn’t especially sharp, although the free shipping is nice.
