Im always dissapointed when i see an interesting, discounted super tuscan, but it turns out to be Sangiovese. Still, this does seem well beneath WS low. Does anyone recommend?

Yeah I was wondering that too. I thought SuperTuscan is definition of blend or non Sangiovese single variety.

How do you search for it? It does not come up in the search.
While you’re right they may have begun that way (foreign grapes), there is no official Super Tuscan meaning, which is why these wines are Toscana IGT. If you’re making a high end 100% Sangiovese in the Chianti Classico zone, but don’t want to make it under CC rules, then you market it as a Super Tuscan.
