Under or over performer? Saw it as well and looks to get variable reviews. Seems like consensus is thin and out of balance?
I’ve only tried the 2013, but really enjoyed it. I found the ‘13 to be big, bold, and fruit forward, but very well done for the style. I bought the ‘14 and ‘15.
The ‘15 is an excellent QPR if the quality is anywhere close to the ‘13.
Second, I’ve drank the 2013 and 2014 Padis, both really excellent and worth the money. Sexy dark fruit. I went back and bought more 2014, 2015 and 2016….
They also offered the Sintilation wine for $30-35 (a mix of Cab and Syrah). It was good, but not as good.
The summer pour event has a couple wines you can’t search for that look to be good values.
2021 Achaval Ferrer Finca Bella Vista Malbec @ 39.99 is back
2021 Shibumi Knolll Corazon del Rio Chard @ 39.99 (was 49 on winespies a few weeks/months ago)
Geez, the deals are nonstop. Now we have Brandin Mt. Veeder Cabernet?!?!
I’m also interested but have quite a bit of Cali cab in the cellar. Do you think this one is high enough quality to add to the cellar?
Just imagine. We are seeing back vintage stuff and lots of 19-21s as of late. If vineyards weren’t ripped out until starting with 24, we are probably looking at several years of back vintage clear out unless market demand changes before then.
Have you had the Brandlin? I’m not familiar but it sounds good.
I’ve never had this wine, but it’s been on my mental to-try list. I’m in for 3 bottles. Good ratings by both pro’s and amateur’s. I’ve had Brandlin Vineyard Zin made by Peter Franus and its excellent.
Plus, is Mt. Veeder. ![]()
in for a couple.
Looks like Brandlin and Cuvaison are owned by the same owners and WTSO has been selling a bunch of Cuvaison recently.
Looks like we have a Terra Valentine winery focus next Wednesday. Probably an easy pass for me, but just sharing.

$29.99/Bottle: Terra Valentine Spring Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon 2018, 2019, 2021

$39.99/Bottle: Terra Valentine Spring Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon Wurtele Vineyard 2018, 2019, 2021
Is that a good price on the 2018 Château La Gaffelière?
Are there any promo codes working right now?
I heard good things about Terra, but no personal experience. Generally love Paloma and Keenan. Anyone have any thoughts on if the single vineyard offering is worth the extra $10?
It appears that WTSO has added search filters. A very welcome addition.
BBQ10 for 10 off 100
This isn’t working for me… so either I already used it, or it’s not live. Just saw a FB ad with it. Let me know if it works for anyone else.
Used to be a buyer but it’s been a while…Terra Valentine probably walks the line between modern and old world, a little more modern than Paloma? Well done wines, Sam Baxter has been there forever. Enjoyed the Yverdon bottlings too but those were shortlived as they sold the property. Prices on offer look attractive. Wurtele for a $10 upcharge is going to give you more structure and depth..again going back a bit…grain of salt
Not working for me either
