Official Costco Thread

I wish we could see the abv on that Vallado — sometimes they can be high octane. But if it’s under 14% (for real, not just labelled) I’d bet on it being absolutely killer at ten bucks. Regardless, even if it is larger-scaled, it would work perfectly for the purpose you stated — BBQ. Or burgers.

Luis said 13.5%.

It comes in at 13.5% alcohol and with good freshness, denoting a less ripe and warm year.

Either of these worth it for the ‘21 vintage?

Cos has been 'on clearance ’ here in AZ for $99 for months now…and i can wholeheartedly say it’s not worth that price, let alone $130. I popped the cos next to the 21 Montrose and neither were a re-buy at $99, although the Cos was the slightly better wine.

Thanks, was thinking about taking a flyer to get an idea on the style since I haven’t had them before, but will pass.

The Gonnet Rhone Gift packs are being discounted again, at least at warehouse 471. This is the current vintage, rolled forward one year from prior mentions. If one looks for them in the app, they do not ‘price’ correctly, as I think it’s an instant rebate rather than manager type markdown. Not sure why, but those prices don’t propagate correctly in the app for alcohol, but it does ring up correctly. Basically, one gets a $14 CNDP, plus some solid villages for $8 per.

Also these were pricechopped

A bit of a disconnect between the label and the shelf-talker, so who knows?
