Naturally, you cleaned them out

At that price, you couldn’t afford NOT to buy it.

Hi Mat, can you also post the picture of the grand cru gift set (375x6)? I wonder what’s in this set

2024 Winespectator #1 wine of the year
costco great oak , CA

Maybe it will drop to .97, let’s wait and see

Sorry I don’t have the picture of six packs of 375 Bordeaux.

If recall, I think it was at foster city Costco

I think it included lynch bages, beychevelle. Can’t recall the vintage. The price was ok

If I’m back there again, I’ll take pix

Amazing! Not even behind glass.

I doubt that the bottles are in the box. I’ve seen the bottles, out of the box, behind glass at our local Costco.

Does anyone know what vintage of Chateau Giscours item # 1870113 is? It’s starting to show up in stock here in Colorado (per the app). Thanks in advance!

Chris

  1. Picked up a bottle at #1267 two days back.

Thanks - will be hitting a store next week and will probably pick up a couple.
(And if there’s any way to tell the vintage through the app or ?, let me know!)

Thanks, Chris

Not sure why I check this thread. Just makes me realize how bad the selection is at our area Costco’s. Enjoy!

I am looking forward to seeing the release of 2022 and 2023 Bordeaux. I think we will see some excellent pricing.

You think similar to 2019 pricing Mark? Because that would be incredible

I’m not sure why you think pricing will be much better than normal Costco BDX pricing. '22 was a very expensive vintage, plus tariffs on wine that might not have made it. While Costco definitely had the muscle to get ahead of smaller shipments, they also are usually late in the game putting out the vintage. Are they holding stateside or do they generally just get their wines later?

it’s a pass. My costco has it for 49.99. I am waiting for it to drop to 45.97 or 39.97. Similar price drop just happened on D’Issan.

I would also hold up for 2022. It is just such a magnificent vintage for BDX. I have checked the reviews, almost all of the Costco usuals are having much better ratings (it’s like from 90-95s in 2021 to 95-99s in 2022). The price gap won’t be much, why not just wait a little bit?
I think we will see 2022s starting from Q3. My local costcos are already clearing out 2021’s to make room for 2022.
