Does the Ridge 2020 have smoke taint from Napa fires?

I’m all about supporting small, family owned wineries who are authentic and doing it right and I hate the behemoth, high-volume, corporate wineries churning out nondescript wines by the gallon.
But I just don’t understand why this certain, small winery doesn’t have better customer service! I ordered some wine and they had the gall to ship it to me when I wasn’t going to be home! Why don’t they just email me to ask when I’ll be home? So the winery recalled the shipment and resent it the following week, BUT they didn’t check to see that my wine would pass through an 85degree day in Utah while in transit to me! Are they F#$king clueless?
I requested 6 new bottles of wine, but they’re asking me to pay for the additional bottles of wine and even pay shipping on them?! What are they thinking?? I don’t understand why the winery won’t just send me 6 free bottles with free shipping because it’s not my fault and the bottles I have are obviously heat damaged. They might look fine, but they went through Utah! Don’t they know the customer is always right?
Even though they’ve responded to all twelve of my previous emails over the last 5 days, they haven’t responded to my most recent email I sent 2 hours ago! WTF? I’m considering demanding that they reimburse me for all my time I’ve spent writing these emails! Why can’t they have great customer service like the wineries that charge me $350/bottle or the big corporate wineries? Why don’t they understand that the only way to truly excellent customer service and satisfaction is to give me free wine?

$275 is QPR when you consider the cost of thee fruit and the prices competitors are charging

“Thee” fruit is fancier than the fruit, and so more expensive. So says the website for Pedant Cellars.

There’s a disturbing theme to my typos.

But there is a Pole.

Be aware that some restaurants may have the nerve of charging you a storage fee :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

XYZ winery sent me a free gift (again). They get it (again).

They’re also very small production so it makes sense their wines should cost more.

I’ve read every post on this thread and every point you guys make is old and tired (I knew they would be based on the title, but other topics came up because of awful thread drift). I’ve heard it all before when I and others had the original ideas and posted them for the universe (you’re welcome).

I do not think this is a worthy thread at all and am going to keep monitoring and will report back soon about how you are handling things.

If I have to have a Monday every damn week, why can’t I have more Berserker Days?
