We have a commitment already, so will have to miss… and I’ve missed a lot of OLs lately for reasons way beyond my control.
But speaking of themes… with someone named FRANKS coming to an OL at Frank’s, I mean isn’t it just too obvious???.. franks and beans for the food… … Let me tell you… Pinot goes great with weenies and boston baked beans… all our group needs is the beans…
Me me me!
Yeah cause without Dietz in attendance there will be a lack of hot air. ![]()
Oh my god, that is funny.
And Todd, both you AND Rob are still welcome.
Frank - please sign me up. Maybe w/ Clara.
I got lots of GBU’s.
Please add Barry Cole +1
Paul Burns was unable to reply, but would like to be included. It that OK?

I haven’t seen you and the Dr. Mrs. for quite some time so please count me in.
Well, anyone else BUT Paul would be fine but the backyard committee on offline eligibility will have to consider the Burns request…

The afternoon time works for me. I’m in.

We have a nice turnout for the 19th–thank you all for signing on.
However…if it is this hot on the 19th, we will have some adjusting to do, as the backyard, even as close as we are to zee Pa-cee-fic, has been abnormally hot and not worth sitting in until about 7PM. We can see as we get closer what the forecast looks like.
Either way, we will make it work here. Look forward to draining some bad bottles and finding a gem with you all.
I might be able to pull a last minute swap with my place if we need to.
Sorry to say I can no longer make it. Just got booked for a work event in Salt Lake City.
Work should never get in the way of a good offline. EVER ![]()
I know that, BUT … I am gonna have to pass as well, heading up to Reno for a meeting. Sorry.
I thought the G, B, U Theme was a winner the last time I joined in. Won’t be able to make it this time as we will be at the Reno Air Races that week. Husband Craig is flying an L-39 jet in the Jet Class this year. I was nervous enough when he was flying our own Glasair III in the Sport Class at 300mph & 50 feet above the deck. I think I will be uncorking wine very early in the day to watch him at 460+mph in the Jet.
Eldon, I hope your meeting in Reno leaves some spare time for you to be a race spectator: it’s the world’s fastest motorsport!
I would LOVE to see those races some day.
Wow - a JET!!! Unfortunately, I will be on a geology field trip to “Wine and Geology of the Motherlode” that weekend, because — well, someone has to do it. Then 4 days of Association of Engineering Geologists meeting, followed by a 3-day Friends of the Pleistocene (look it up) field trip along Hwy 50 looking at faults, faults, and more faults. And, eventually my liver will regenerate. But, a JET!!!
Frank - please sign Fe and I up for the event.
