Great piece. I sent this to a few people who ask me who the reliably good American producers are. This list of names is a pretty good place to start for pretty much anyone.

Never heard of Hobo Wine Company but any winery with a name that cool needs to be tried. :smiley:

I’ve been a big fan of Kenny Likitprakong’s wines for some time. He has several different labels. You should look for his Ghostwriter Bates Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon (Ghostwriter is his Santa Cruz Mountains label) and he makes some really cool stuff under his Folk Machine label.

I liked it a lot, but I wish the only mention of Washington hadn’t been limited to Christophe Baron of Cayuse Vineyards.
