I understand that there may be a spot available. What kind of red would you like? My red collection may not be food friendly for this menu, but I can accommodate other people’s preferences EXCEPT I have no Loire Cab Franc to drink with a tutu. Does it count as blind if I bring Saxum red but do not post which cuvee? Inquiring minds want to know.

Has Saxum ever made a rose? I imagine that drinks like a normal red?

Grossly overpriced. If I recall correctly, the bidders were two hedge fund guys who had much more money than brains until one of them realized that he was actually as dumb as he was acting, and dropped out.
According to Cellartracker, I have bottles of the 2013 and 2014 bottlings of that overpriced rose, and since I have recently decided that it is time to drink some really good stuff before my palate keels over from over-work, I could bring one of those, but it does not qualify as Riesling and it wouldn’t very well be blind.
So I come back to my original suggestion. If somebody wants to pick a grape, I will see what I can do to keep them happy. It was from the Finger Lakes. 2000 Dr. Konstantin Frank Merlot. The other bottle was the cheapest Merlot at Total Wine. It’s from California.
