I bought some “brandy” glasses from Ikea intending to use for good ales but then I liked the look of the bowl and threw some burgs/ CA PN into them and compared against my daily Schott Zwiesel burg glasses. The Ikea wins every time hands down (sample size of 5 bottles), although they’re a bit awkward to hold and swirl. More concentrated aromatics and totally removes any hints of alcohol. For $3 a piece, pretty great.
I do need to pick up some Zaltos.

Yeah, why even go there? Buy 2 Zalto Universals. Quit running around looking to see if the imitators measure up. Enough “fussy” people on this thread and other related threads have said “this is it.” Why not just go there?
Unless the hunt is as satisfying as the conquest. I think you have a ready audience for that here.
Folks - never said these were as good as Zaltos or why would you buy Zaltos when you can have these for $2. Was in Home Goods screwing around and saw these and figured it was worth a flyer at $15 for 6. Of course they don’t compare to the real thing, but they are better than a lot of the more expensive “knock-offs”, and for parties or dinners they are a nice option. Dont want to risk the good stuff when things get messy after a long night of raiding the cellar.
