Enzo Brezza is very happy with the closure, and is now using it for at least some Barolo bottlings.

Sinskey uses these on a variety of bottles. I think it’s a neat alternative.

Yep! I remember the 2004 anniversary bottle used them. Not sure if that was a ‘one and done’ scenario?

I totally forgot I have a bottle of this Haut Bailly rose buried somewhere - I’ll have to dig it out. I’ve seen these enclosures on a few hipster Austrian wines before - my first thought was about the potential of the glass to shard off during improper handling. But then I knocked it off the counter while cooking onto a stone floor, and it bounced like a marble, so I felt like maybe the risk was not so high.
