Had a great time last time and would love to attend but will be out of town on 10/22. Hope to hit the next one.
I wasn’t paying that close of attention to the date. That’s my son’s birthday!
I can’t make that date work unfortunately. Sorry guys. Just excited to get back out to another dinner!
So far there is less of a turnout than for our inaugural dinner. I suggest rescheduling so that Ian_Dorin and mhgreen can attend. Let’s see if we can drum up enough interest for this one - I think we need at least 6 people.
How about Tuesday 11/5 at 6:30 p.m. at Basilico in Millburn? Again, the theme is wines from any region that are 50% or more Cabernet Sauvignon.
It will be a blind tasting so bring your bottles concealed.
I suggest bringing 2 bottles each to create an interesting compare and contrast. For example, two wines from different regions, or, for that matter, from the same region that would be interesting to taste alongside one another, or wines of different vintages, or that showcase different styles. Whatever floats your boat.

All right, I made a mistake. Unknowingly, I scheduled the wine dinner for Election Day, November 5.
So please take it off your calendars.
I suggest we change the date to Tues. Nov. 19. Same time and location - 6:30 at Basilico in Millburn.
If there are no objections, I can put up a brand new post announcing it instead of continuing on this one. Since there have not been as many acceptances as the last time around, maybe kicking it out to Nov. 19 will give an opportunity for more people to “sign up.”
I’m not against Election Day. I don’t need to be home that not. And heavy drinking might be recommended 
Ian (and everyone else), is the alternate date okay? I will be drinking wine on 11/5, but it will be at home while glued to the TV watching the election results come in.
