Nice, Inexpensive Barbaresco Showing Well

2009 Prunotto Barbaresco Bric Turot - decanted and aerated in my cav for around 1 hour & 15 minutes; served with roast beef & lechon (roasted whole pig) for this past Sunday lunch. Alluring nose, proper fruit, medium bodied, good focus, with proper acid that made it a good match for the roast beef with red wine-mushroom gravy. Ok with the lechon too.

For its very reasonable price, I’m buying more for casual heavier meat-centric meals at home.

Always enjoyed their wines and offer good value propistion. Don’t know why I don’t buy them more often.
