I picked up the current copy of Sommelier Journal when I was at World of Pinot Noir a few weeks ago, and just today had time to read a very good article by Randy Caparoso on the Sonoma Coast. It’s on their website here:

The article is part of a two-part series. The fisrt part discusses the different parts of the West Sonoma Coast - Annapolis, Fort Ross-Seaview, Occidental, Freestone, Sebastopol Hills, Green Valley, and Mays Canyon. The next part will cover Petaluma Gap and Marin County (yeah, not really part of the Sonoma Coast but similar in many ways). Thought this first part was very well done, and looking forward to the second part.
