New York City Restaurants

I think the article mentions that they tend to focus on a given region with every changing tasting menu, or did I read that wrong?

Yes every month the focus changes. Would love to hear some feedback on the restaurant. The winelist is pretty good.

CdP as the seasonal highlight for NYC in Aug/Sep is an interesting choice.

Well, I mean it is after all a great sushi pairing.

Great flag. It’s a cool list.

Heading to NYC with the wife next month. I’m taking a different approach and trying to search for a restaurant with a great aged wine list instead of food first. An example would be like pluckemin inn. Any good recommendations in the city I can check out?

I doubt there is one like pluckemin and their prices.

Saint Urban mentioned upthread looks good. There wine list is on line. The Grill is another. In all honestly not many options these days outside of the very high end type places. How old and what regions?

Nice Matin. Great list. Food just ok.

Another option is to buy an older bottle at Chambers or Crush and then BYOB.

These two come to mind. Different focuses though:

Anyone have any good recommendations for a casual-ish place near Terminal 5 for before a show? Btg wine is fine don’t really need bottles. No sushi or generic Italian. And something where you can get a reservation a week or 2 in advance

Thanks in advance!
